At Millet Fresh Field, we are committed to delivering your nutritious millet breakfast products safely and on time. We partner with Shiprocket, a leading logistics and shipping service provider in India, to ensure reliable and efficient delivery to customers across the country.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our shipping methods, delivery timelines, shipping charges, and order tracking procedures. Please read this policy carefully to understand our delivery process.

1. Shipping Partner

We use Shiprocket as our primary shipping and logistics partner. Shiprocket provides:

  • Reliable courier services across India
  • Real-time order tracking
  • Multiple shipping options
  • Secure and insured deliveries
  • Customer support for delivery queries

Shiprocket works with various courier partners including but not limited to Delhivery, FedEx, Blue Dart, DTDC, Xpressbees, and others, depending on the delivery location and service level selected.

2. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to:

  • All Major Cities: Delivery available to all major cities and towns across India
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: Most tier 2 and tier 3 cities are covered
  • Rural Areas: Delivery available to most rural areas, subject to courier service availability

Note: Some remote locations may have limited delivery options or extended delivery times. Delivery availability and timelines are calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address.

If your location is not serviceable, our system will notify you during checkout, and you may contact us for alternative arrangements.

3. Processing Time

Order Processing: We process orders within 1-2 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding holidays).

Processing includes:

  • Order verification
  • Payment confirmation
  • Product packaging and quality check
  • Handover to Shiprocket for shipping

Business Days: Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays and Sundays). Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

4. Delivery Timelines

4.1 Standard Delivery

Standard delivery timelines vary by location:

  • Metro Cities: 3-5 business days from order dispatch
  • Tier 1 Cities: 4-7 business days from order dispatch
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 5-8 business days from order dispatch
  • Rural Areas: 7-10 business days from order dispatch (subject to courier availability)

Delivery Timeline Calculation:

Total delivery time = Processing time (1-2 days) + Shipping time (as per location above). For example, a metro city order typically arrives in 4-7 days total from order placement.

4.2 Express Delivery

Express delivery options may be available for select locations at additional charges. Express delivery typically reduces shipping time by 1-2 days. Availability and charges are displayed during checkout.

4.3 Factors Affecting Delivery Time

Delivery timelines may be extended due to:

  • Public holidays and festivals
  • Weather conditions or natural calamities
  • Remote or difficult-to-access locations
  • Customs clearance (for any international deliveries, if applicable)
  • Force majeure events
  • Incorrect or incomplete address provided
  • Recipient unavailable for delivery

5. Shipping Charges

5.1 Free Shipping

Free shipping may be available for:

Shipping charges are calculated based on:

Shipping charges are displayed clearly during checkout before you confirm your order. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.

Shipping charges are collected along with the order payment through our secure payment gateway (Razorpay). Shipping charges are non-refundable unless:

  • Product is defective, damaged, or wrong item received
  • Order is not delivered within the promised timeline due to our error

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • Email Notification: Shipping confirmation email with tracking number and tracking link
  • SMS Notification: Tracking details via SMS (if phone number is provided)
  • Account Dashboard: Track your order status in your account dashboard

6.1 Tracking Your Order

You can track your order using:

  • Tracking Number: Use the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation email
  • Tracking Link: Click the tracking link in the email to view real-time delivery status
  • Account Dashboard: Log into your account and view order details
  • Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service with your order number

6.2 Tracking Updates

You will receive updates at key stages:

  • Order confirmed
  • Order processed and ready for dispatch
  • Order dispatched with courier
  • In transit updates
  • Out for delivery
  • Delivered

7. Delivery Process

7.1 Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners typically make 2-3 delivery attempts at your provided address. Each attempt includes:

  • Phone call or SMS notification before delivery
  • Delivery at your doorstep
  • Verification of recipient (if required)

7.2 Delivery Requirements

To ensure smooth delivery:

  • Correct Address: Please provide complete and accurate delivery address including pin code
  • Contact Number: Ensure your phone number is correct and reachable
  • Availability: Make arrangements to receive the package or authorize someone to receive on your behalf
  • Identification: Keep ID proof ready (may be required by courier)

7.3 Failed Deliveries

If delivery attempts fail, the order may:

  • Be held at the local courier office for pickup
  • Be returned to us after a specified period
  • Require rescheduling (contact us or courier directly)

Important: If the order is returned to us due to failed delivery, you may be charged return shipping charges if the failure was due to incorrect address or unavailability on your part.

8. Multiple Items Order

If your order contains multiple items, they may be shipped together or in separate shipments depending on:

  • Product availability
  • Warehouse location
  • Shipping efficiency

You will be notified if your order is split into multiple shipments. Each shipment will have its own tracking number. You will not be charged additional shipping for split shipments if it was our decision to split.

9. Delivery Address Changes

You can modify your delivery address only before the order is dispatched. To change the address:

  • Log into your account and update the order
  • Contact us immediately with your order number and new address

After Dispatch: Once the order is dispatched, address changes may not be possible. You can contact the courier directly or contact us for assistance. Additional charges may apply for address changes after dispatch.

10. Product Packaging

We take great care in packaging your millet products to ensure they reach you in perfect condition:

  • Products are packed in secure, food-grade packaging
  • Original product packaging is maintained
  • Fragile items are specially protected
  • Packages are sealed to prevent tampering

Inspection: Please inspect the package upon delivery. If the package appears damaged or tampered with, you may refuse delivery or contact us immediately.

11. Delivery Delays

While we strive to deliver orders on time, delays may occur due to reasons beyond our control. In case of delays:

  • You will be notified via email or SMS if significant delays are expected
  • You can track your order status in real-time
  • Our customer service team is available to assist with delivery queries

12. International Shipping

13. Lost or Damaged Shipments

While we take all precautions to ensure safe delivery, if your shipment is lost or damaged in transit:

  • Provide details and photographs (if damaged)
  • We will investigate with Shiprocket and the courier partner
  • We will arrange replacement or full refund as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy

Insurance coverage is typically included for all shipments through Shiprocket.
