At Millet Fresh Field, we are committed to providing you with high-quality millet breakfast products and excellent customer service. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for order cancellations, returns, and refunds. This policy is designed to comply with Indian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel your order under the following circumstances:

Before Shipment:

  • You can cancel your order anytime before it is shipped/dispatched
  • Cancellation requests must be made through your account dashboard or by contacting us
  • Full refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the order

After Shipment:

  • Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled
  • You may, however, return the product after delivery (subject to return policy)
  • If the order is cancelled after shipment due to our error, we will arrange for return pickup at no cost to you

1.2 Cancellation by Millet Fresh Field

We reserve the right to cancel your order in the following situations:

  • Product is out of stock or unavailable
  • Pricing or product description errors
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Violation of our Terms & Conditions
  • Payment issues or failure

If we cancel your order, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

2. Returns

2.1 Return Eligibility

You may return products within 7 days of delivery date if:

  • The product is defective, damaged, or expired
  • You received the wrong product
  • The product does not match the description on our website
  • The product is unopened and in its original packaging (for change of mind returns)

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

  • Opened or used food products (unless defective/damaged)
  • Perishable items that have exceeded their shelf life
  • Items returned after 7 days of delivery
  • Products without original packaging or tags
  • Items damaged due to misuse or negligence by the customer
  • Customized or personalized products

2.3 Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to milletfreshfields@gmail.com or call us at +91 9508995685 within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, product details, and reason for return
  3. Return Authorization: We will review your request and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number if eligible
  4. Return Shipment:
    • For defective/wrong items: We will arrange pickup at no cost to you
    • For change of mind returns: You may need to return the product at your expense
  5. Inspection: We will inspect the returned product upon receipt

2.4 Return Conditions

To be eligible for return, products must:

  • Be in original, unopened packaging (for change of mind returns)
  • Include all original tags, labels, and accessories
  • Not be used, damaged, or altered by the customer
  • Be returned within 7 days of delivery

3. Refunds

3.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be processed in the following cases:

  • Order cancelled before shipment
  • Order cancelled by us
  • Product returned within return period and meets return conditions
  • Product is defective, damaged, or wrong item received
  • Product not delivered within promised delivery timeline (subject to terms)

3.2 Refund Processing

Processing Time:

  • After we receive and inspect the returned product: 5-7 business days
  • For order cancellations (before shipment): 5-7 business days
  • Total time from return initiation to refund credit: 10-14 business days

Refund Method:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the order
  • For card payments (credit/debit): Refund will be credited to the same card (5-7 business days)
  • For UPI/Wallet payments: Refund will be credited to the same UPI/wallet (3-5 business days)
  • For Net Banking: Refund will be credited to the same bank account (5-7 business days)
  • For Cash on Delivery (if applicable): Refund will be processed via bank transfer (7-10 business days)

Important Note:

The time taken for refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment gateway provider. Millet Fresh Field processes refunds within 5-7 business days of approval, but it may take additional time for your bank to credit the amount to your account.

3.3 Refund Amount

The refund amount will include:

  • Full product price
  • Original shipping charges (if product is defective/wrong/damaged)

The refund amount will NOT include:

  • Return shipping charges (for change of mind returns)
  • Handling fees or any charges levied by payment gateway (if applicable)

4. Replacement Policy

We offer replacement for products that are defective, damaged, or if you received a wrong item. Replacement is subject to:

  • Product availability in stock
  • Return of the original product in its original condition
  • Request made within 7 days of delivery

If the replacement product is not available, we will process a full refund instead. Replacement products will be shipped free of charge.

5. Payment Gateway Refunds

All payments are processed through Razorpay, our secure payment gateway. Razorpay handles the technical processing of refunds once we initiate them.

Refund Status Tracking: You can track your refund status by:

  • Checking your order status in your account dashboard
  • Contacting our customer service team
  • Checking with your bank/payment provider after our refund is processed

6. Special Cases

6.1 Product Quality Issues

If you receive a product that is expired, damaged, or of poor quality, please contact us immediately with photographs. We will arrange a free return pickup and process a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.

6.2 Non-Delivery

If your order is not delivered within the promised timeline and you wish to cancel, we will process a full refund including shipping charges, subject to investigation with our shipping partner Shiprocket.

6.3 Partial Orders

If your order is split into multiple shipments and you wish to cancel part of the order, you can cancel the undelivered items. For delivered items, standard return policy applies.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns about your refund or cancellation, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving all customer issues promptly and fairly.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.

Orders placed before policy changes will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of order placement.
